Computational Theory of Mind

Introduction

The philosophical inquiry into the mind broadens into computation with the contemporary metaphor of the mind as a computing machine. Philosophical postulation into the nature of the mind as computation has cultivated several theoretical stances regarding the relation of the mind to the brain, the function of the mind as a computer, and the actuality of the mind as a form of computation.
